UCC First Congregational celebrated 150 years in 2021. Celebrations were limited by Covid restrictions.

Kickoff celebration was a cookie give away. Cookies were delivered to members in their neighborhood by car or by hayrack ride. From the longest standing member to the youngest cookies were shared.

In August a picnic celebration was held at the Lothrop Farms east of Crete. A meal, cake, games and conversation united multiple generations whether new to the church or several general families.
